In August of 2005 I accepted the call to serve as pastor of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Edgerton, Wisconsin. Trinity is a wonderful  group of people who seek ways to live out their faith in Christ through everyday acts of kindness. It has been a great joy to serve as their pastor. We'd love to have you join us for worship any Sunday!

Here's a bit of background about me.  I was born in Southern Wisconsin just two miles from Luther Valley Lutheran Church, my home congregation. The experience of growing up in the country instilled in me a love for creation and the Creator. My faith in Christ was nurtured through the fellowship I enjoyed with all ages of people in my church.

I have always enjoyed teaching children in Sunday School and leading youth events.  I have love seeing people of all ages grow in faith and discipleship. I love reading the Bible and exploring it with others. In 1981, I graduated from Taylor University in Indiana with a degree in Christian Education and extra class work in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. During my years as Director of Christian Education and Youth at a Lutheran church in Rockford, Illinois, I was commissioned as an Associate in Ministry of the ELCA. Upon completing a Masters of Divinity degree from Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa, I was ordained in 1991 and began my first call at a two-point rural parish near La Crosse, Wisconsin. I have served congregations in Muscatine and Hampton, Iowa as well.

 I was delighted to move back to Southern Wisconsin in 2003 to live closer to family. In 2004 I met a wonderful person, Kevin, who became my husband in 2005. Kevin grew up in Milwaukee and Rosholt, Wisconsin. He has worked with main frame computers in the insurance industry for over thirty years. Currently he is a computer program analyst for WPS in Madison, Wisconsin. Kevin loves pitching horseshoes, occasionally fishing, and watching sports. He has two sons, D.J., a teenager, and Andrew, a young adult. Both live near Green Bay, Wisconsin. Kevin and I love living in Edgerton and being a part of this congregation. I also love to visit my sisters and brother, and their families. My hobbies include paper crafts, flower gardening, feeding the birds, taking photographs of people and nature, and working on my family's genealogy.
